The initial painting reaction to the U.K decision to leave the E.U. on 24 June 2016.... The right-wing media had been orchestrating a leave campaign based on horror stories relating to an impending invasion by Syrian refugees and other immigrants from within the E.U. using fear to manipulate the British public.
Right wing politicians were promising more money for the NHS...If we left...
The U.K's relationship with the E.U. might not have been perfect... But here we are now sailing into uncharted territory.

Many people at the time commented he didn't look a happy man... He more had the face of someone caught in the act of committing a heinous crime.
